Atmic Vision is a new sound in East-West Indian classical fusion music. Atmic Vision's innovative blending of Indian bamboo flute, double bass, and tabla engages Western audiences of all ages and backgrounds in the expressive richness of Indian ragas and rhythms. The group's repertoire is built around instrumental renditions of popular raga-based bhajan songs of India and raga-based compositions. Concerts are infused with inspirational improvisation and dynamic musical dialogue between the musicians. 2005, '07 & '08 tours have brought Atmic Vision's music to audiences in 10 states from New York to Californiain, and Paris. The Colorado Daily writes of Atmic Vision's first CD, Expanding Horizons, recorded in 2005: “Some tracks have an upbeat, dancing feel while others send you off into a space of transient, imagery-filled peacefulness.” Atmic Vision's 2nd CD is soon to be released. The exciting 4th USA and Europe tour in September-October 2010 will include a concert at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
According to ancient Vedic philosophy of India, true happiness and joy are found in that place of Sathyam, Sivam, Sundaram (Truth, Goodness, Beauty), which is at the core of every human being. Atmic Vision is dedicated to using its unique blend of Eastern & Western musical elements to take audiences on a musical journey within, a journey that for many audience members has been a powerfully transformative experience.

As K. Bowers, Director of the Panida Theater, writes: "Atmic Vision was one of the finest concerts ever performed on the Panida stage. The incredibly beautiful music took me deep within, spoke to the core of my being, moving a part of me that I'm not in touch with enough. But I found that as much as I wanted to remain there, I also didn't want to miss the opportunity to watch the musicians play. All masters of their instruments, their precision was engrossing. Not only was the music mesmerizing, but also the ease, familiarity and the perfection in which the instruments were handled, is something to behold. Foreign to the American eye, the tabla, flute and double bass combination played in the traditional Indian way held the audience in reverence.”
Atmic Vision is pioneering musical and expressive sonorities that combine the warmth and richness of the double bass, the captivatingly enchanting quality of the bansuri bamboo flute, and the energizing rhythmic vitality of the tabla drums. Paul's double bass weaves smoothly between solo melodies often in dialogue with the flute and more traditional bass lines common to jazz and symphony orchestra music. The familiar sound of the double bass gives Western audiences an aural foothold that is an effective window into the world of Indian music. Atmic Vision’s culturally diverse audiences have consistently been drawn into and thrilled by the magical and mesmerizing world of Atmic Vision.
